T3: Networking 101 – Understanding Layers 2 & 3

A lot of times network administrators get so involved with their networks that they never get the time to receive formal network training. This is your opportunity to receive training on basic networking principles.

Maybe you have been a network administrator for a while and just want a refresher on networking principles.

Or maybe this has happened to you. You are the most knowledgeable person in your office when it comes to computers and before you know it, you have a network and are responsible for maintaining it. But you aren’t a networking junkie; your real job doesn’t even relate to networking. But now you have to learn about CSMA-CD, Ethernet, Collision Domains, and VLANs; and the list goes on and on.

This seminar will help you learn the basics of networking. The goals of this seminar are to help you understand the technologies that make up your network and how packets traverse a routed network.

The “T3: Networking 101 – Understanding Layers 2 and 3” training seminar will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Pastries and juice will be provided in the morning and a light lunch will be provided after the seminar.

This training seminar has a technical rating of 2.5 (Scaled from 1=low to 5=high).

Seating for this seminar is limited; please register early!!
