T3: Exploring the JUNOS CLI

Have you struggled with having to learn two or three different user interfaces while implementing networking equipment from a single vendor? Do you have to stop and think, how do I structure the command I want to execute in this user interface? Well, those days are over. Juniper, a leading security and network infrastructure company, uses JUNOS as the common operating system and user interface across their routing, switching and security products. Having this common operating system means that once you learn how to use it on one platform, you know how to use it on all the other platforms. This helps cut down on implementation time and training costs.

During this training seminar, you will be introduced to the basics of the JUNOS operating system and user interface. Some of the basics that you will learn are:
  • Moving around the CLI
  • Understanding the different modes of operation
  • Manipulating configuration files
  • Configuring system basics
  • Setting up users
  • Using monitoring and logging

The T3: Exploring the JUNOS CLI training seminar will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Pastries and juice will be provided in the morning and a light lunch will be provided after the seminar.

This training seminar has a technical rating of 3.5 (Scaled from 1=low to 5=high).

Seating for this seminar is limited; please register early!!
