Primary and secondary storage are important components of every network. Understanding what technologies are available and how to implement them are critical in order to maintain reliable data on your network without breaking the bank.
This seminar will help you learn the basics of storage. The goals of this seminar are to help you understand the many technical aspects of storage, what storage technologies are best for particular data types, and how to best utilize and manage your storage resources. We will also explore current trends in storage such as solid state disks and data de-duplication.
