MS: SSL VPN Remote Access & WAN Optimization

We are continuing our theme of doing more with less in this challenging economy. We will explore money saving remote access and WAN Optimization technologies.

SSL VPN solutions enable work at home programs that can reduce facility costs (office space, equipment, power, etc.) and increase productivity without adding excessive overhead on IT. WAN Optimization allows you to get the most out of your existing bandwidth and solves latency problems that additional bandwidth can never fix.

Are you dealing with any of the following issues?
  • Securely offering employees network access from home or on the road, without adding additional work for the IT staff
  • Slow network connections between remote offices
  • Finding places to seat employees or contractors
  • Not knowing what is using up all of your WAN bandwidth
  • Allowing business partners restricted access to documents on the corporate network without using unsecure email, which also can be very inefficient
  • Applications (backups, chatty applications, large file types, etc.) that just don’t work over the WAN
  • Excessive support issues with “road warriors” using IPSEC or PPTP/L2TP VPNs
  • Security breaches caused by remote access users
  • Security concerns with allowing users to directly access the corporate email server via HTTP/S across the Internet (OWA, etc.)
  • Time consuming road trips to help end-users with desktop issues.
Do these issues seem familiar? Do you wish you had a way to quickly and easily address these types of issues? If you answered “yes”, you need to attend this seminar.

SSL VPN has become the gold standard for remote access. With lower support costs, better user experience, and a higher level of security, SSL VPN is the only way to go. However, not all SSL VPN solutions are created equal. Let us show you the features and functions you would look for when evaluating an SSL VPN solution.

In addition to SSL VPN, we are going to explore yet another money saving technology, WAN Optimization. Buying more bandwidth just isn’t fixing WAN performance issues anymore. WAN Optimization helps you avoid paying for bandwidth that may not even improve performance in the long run. WAN Optimization also gives you total visibility into your WAN traffic and allows you prioritize important traffic types. Get more out of the WAN links you already have with cutting edge WAN Optimization technologies.

Finally, we will tie it all together and explain how these two technologies can complement each other.

The “MS: SSL VPN Remote Access and WAN Optimization” training seminar will be held on Wednesday, February 25 from 9:00 AM to 12 Noon. A light lunch will be served after the seminar, sponsored by Juniper Networks. Engineers will be available to answer all of your technical questions.

This training seminar has a technical rating of 3 (Scaled from 1=low to 5=high).

Seating for this seminar is limited; please register early!!
