T3: Resource Load Balancing 101
Are you being asked to increase the availability of critical network resources such as web/application servers and Internet access? Have you lost the ability to keep critical servers updated and patched because the concept of a “maintenance window” is a thing of the past? Do you want to take advantage of some of the new cheap Internet bandwidth options without giving up reliability? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please join us for our next T3 event.
The upcoming training seminar is entitled
“T3: Resource Load Balancing 101” and will feature the following points:
- Resource Fault Tolerance and Load Balancing Defined
- Load Balancing Internet Traffic Across Multiple Internet Connections
- Load Balancing User Access to Critical Servers (Server Load Balancing)
- Utilizing Multiple Datacenters with Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)
Internet access (both inbound and outbound) has become mission critical for most organizations. Relying on a single ISP and Internet connection is becoming too risky. In addition, inexpensive bandwidth is readily available but may not be as reliable as traditional T1s. Internet connection load balancing appliances are allowing companies to increase both bandwidth and reliability at an affordable price.
Related issues are the performance and availability of web and application servers. The ability to load balance user sessions over multiple web/application servers offers increased performance, better fault tolerance, and flexible maintenance windows. Server load balancing appliances intelligently and dynamically “spray” user sessions across multiple servers. With global server load balancing, the servers can be in dispersed data centers.
This seminar will help you learn the basics as well as advanced concepts related to resource load balancing. The goal of the seminar is to help you fully understand how Internet connection and server load balancing work. We will also help you determine if any of these technologies would benefit your organization. A live demo of a load balancing appliance will be conducted.
The
“T3: Resource Load Balancing 101” training seminar will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A light lunch will be served after the seminar, sponsored by
FatPipe Networks.
This training seminar has a technical rating of 3 (Scaled from 1=low to 5=high).
