T3: Network Security 101
Many small-to-medium business (SMB) owners and network administrators believe that only large enterprises need to worry about the bad guys getting into their network and stealing information. Most will say that they don’t have anything thing that a hacker would want to steal. Unfortunately that is not true.
In addition there are many businesses that still send data in clear text rather than using encryption and VPNs to protect their data. Again, most will say that it doesn’t matter because they don’t have any sensitive information. However, information they may think as non-important is usually worth something to the right people.
This seminar will help you understand Network Security Best Practices as well as cover the basics of encryption and when to use it. You will also learn about some of the techniques that are used to get information from you and your network.
