MS: The End of Passwords
Presented by:
This month’s seminar is all about authentication. Passwords are no longer enough to protect your company’s valuable data and applications. Easily borrowed, guessed and stolen, simple passwords make networks vulnerable to attack. What’s more, the “stronger” passwords have become, the weaker they actually get. Complex passwords are more likely to be jotted down by authorized users and grabbed by unauthorized ones. Even when there isn't a security breach, passwords have many hidden costs such as lost productivity and helpdesk calls.
We will discuss 2-factor authentication, biometrics, smart cards, tokens, and other secure authentication methods. RSA Security, the industry leader in advanced authentication methods, will lead this technical discussion. We will also explore issues that are forcing organizations to move away from passwords such as government regulations and remote access. It is only a matter of time before your organization needs strong authentication, this seminar can help you prepare.
The
“MS: The End of Passwords” training seminar will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon. A light lunch will be served after the seminar, sponsored by
