T3: Resource Load Balancing 101
Internet access (both inbound and outbound) has become mission critical for most organizations. Relying on a single ISP and Internet connection is becoming too risky. In addition, inexpensive bandwidth is readily available but may not be as reliable as traditional T1s. Internet connection load balancing appliances are allowing companies to increase both bandwidth and reliability at an affordable price.
A related issue is the performance and availability of web and application servers. The ability to load balance user sessions over multiple web/application servers offers increased performance, better fault tolerance, and flexible maintenance windows. Server load balancing appliances intelligently and dynamically “spray” user sessions across multiple servers.
This seminar will help you learn the basics of resource load balancing. The goal of the seminar is to help you fully understand how Internet connection and server load balancing works. We will also help you determine if any of these technologies would benefit your organization.
The “T3: Resource Load Balancing 101” training seminar will be held on Thursday, March 9. A light lunch will be served, sponsored by FatPipe Networks. There will be 2 sessions for this seminar, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The schedule is:
