MS: Dell Servers and Storage
Presented by:
Servers and storage are critical components of any corporate network. As with all technologies, servers and storage are evolving and improving at an incredible pace. Dell has just released a new generation of servers, the PowerEdge “9 series.” These servers incorporate all the latest technologies such as SAS/SATA (Serial Attached SCSI/Serial ATA), Quad Core processors, and PCI-Express.
The Dell/EMC storage solutions offer a huge array of options. From simple DAS (Direct Attached Storage) to enterprise class SAN (Storage Area Networks) Dell/EMC has a full offering. All the latest technologies such as iSCSI, SAS/SATA, fiber channel, and NAS are available.
This will be a technical seminar where we explore not only the solutions offered by Dell/EMC but also the underlying technologies. There will be demo gear available to allow for a hands-on experience. A Dell engineer will lead the presentation and answer technical questions. This is a wonderful opportunity to get detailed technical information directly from a Dell engineer.
What You Will Learn About:
- The new generation of Dell servers
- SAS and SATA Disk Drives
- DAS, NAS, and SAN Storage
- PCI-E and other Cutting Edge Technologies
